The S3 Values Based Leadership Program promotes the shared values of Spirit, Integrity, Commitment, Empowerment and Motivation (SIC ‘EM) to inspire a diverse student body to find fulfilling careers in the business of sports and entertainment.
With corporate support from BirdieBox, WOWorks, 9th Wonder, and team support from the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Dynamo, Houston Rockets, and San Antonio Spurs, S3 students learn how to make better decisions with fewer regrets. Special thanks to Chrissy Dunlap, Kelly Roddy, Jose Lozano, and Heidi Weingartner for their support of values-based leadership. Thanks to Frank Miceli (Spurs), Ronnie Fauss (Mavs), Gretchen Sheirr (Rockets) and Katie Sarantakes Scallan (Dynamo) for hosting the S3 underclassmen on our VBL trips.
In 2021-22, freshmen visited the San Antonio Spurs. Sophomores visited with the Mavericks in Dallas. Juniors visited Houston, hosted by the Rockets and Dynamo. Seniors traveled to Boston, hosted by the Red Sox & Fenway Sports Management, Boston Bruins and Celtics, and Kraft Analytics Group at Gillette Stadium.

One highlight was CBS Sports mistaking S3 freshmen wearing Baylor hoodies for the Baylor Men’s National Championship team. While it is true S3 places more graduates in the NBA than anywhere else, it’s in the front office not on the court.
