The song “Kabiosi Baba” is written and composed by Samuel Oluwasesan Akinyemi, also known as Psalm Ebube, a name he got from his hit album Ebube. The song was released in 2012 in collaboration with a group known as The Mid-Night Crew. The song is presented in three languages: Yoruba, English, and Igbo. It projects the praise of God, who is the unquestionable one, as reflected in the scriptural reference to Psalm 48:1, which says, “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God and in His holy mountain.”

It also speaks of the sovereignty and the excellency of God, and these attributes demand the praise of man. The song is fit for usage in liturgy to declare God’s praise and to celebrate His greatness. It has been adapted as a praise chorus in many churches in Nigeria, especially the South-western part of the country. It has also been used during thanksgiving services, wedding services and any other celebration services of the church.
