Student Feature – Emily Mertens

If there’s one word to describe Emily, it’s fearless. She has a strong desire to try new things, meet new people, and challenge herself in anything she does. Emily has traveled to see many parts of the world. Through travel, she has developed a greater understanding of people. It’s experiences like these that have made her fearless.

In her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, Emily serves as the chapter’s President. Emily is also a Professional Selling major. One of her biggest takeaways from the ProSales program has been learning to be confident in herself, as her own brand.

We know Emily will continue to be fearless as she begins her new position at IBM.
