Student Feature – Stephen Calcote

Stephen is a modern renaissance man, proficient at playing twenty- five musical instruments, ranging from the mandolin to piano. Stephen also plays tennis, runs cross-country, and has completed triathlons. He has flown Cessna airplanes across the United States with his dad, has been skydiving, and has bungee jumped from the 3rd highest building in the world (and would love to go again!). Stephen is also a dual major in ProSales and Management and has held leadership roles in three on-campus organizations.

As evident throughout his life, Stephen believes in going above and beyond, and credits the ProSales program for teaching him this principle. He acknowledges that everyone is endowed with unique gifts and believes that individuals should use those gifts, going above and beyond to make an impact in people’s lives. Stephen is a true servant leader, applying lessons he has learned in the classroom- like how to nurture relationships and genuinely care for people- to his work and personal life. As he graduates, Stephen promises to continue going above and beyond at Oracle.
