Sean Dempsey is Assistant Professor of Nineteenth Century British Literature at the University of Arkansas. He regularly teaches courses in Ecopoetics and Religion & Literature in addition to classes in nineteenth century British literature, and has published in ELH, Studies in Romanticism and elsewhere on a range of Romantic and post-romantic writers, including Wordsworth, Keats, Shelley, Austen, T. S. Eliot, and Robert Frost. He is currently completing a monograph entitled Words Made Flesh: Formations of the Postsecular in British Romanticism.
