Paul Martens is Associate Professor of Ethics in the Department of Religion and Director of Interdisciplinary Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences at Baylor University. Even though he was born and raised on the Canadian prairies, has been calling central Texas home for over a decade. Specializing in Christian ethics, his research focuses have included Søren Kierkegaard, Anabaptist theology and ethics, and environmental ethics, especially as it is manifested in slow violence. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family, cycling, and trail running.
