Katherine Voyles lectures at the University of Washington, Bothell. Her articles on how relations of scale shape narrative realism appear in a variety of journals including Victorian Literature and Culture, Persuasions and George Eliot-George Henry Lewes Studies and her reviews appear in Victorian Review and the V21 Collective. She also uses her background in academic writing to engage national defense issues in culture and the cultures of national defense issues in venues including Foreign Policy, Task & Purpose and Public Books.
