Elizabeth Ludlow is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. She is the author of Christina Rossetti and the Bible: Waiting with the Saints (Bloomsbury, 2014) and editor of The Figure of Christ in the Long Nineteenth Century (forthcoming with Palgrave Macmillan). She is currently working on a monograph entitled Prayer and the Female Body in Victorian Women’s Writing and a project on nineteenth-century representations of Early Church women.
