Travel

There are three large airports within reasonable driving distance of Baylor, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Dallas Love Field (DAL), and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). Waco has its own small airport, Waco Regional (ACT), which offers connecting service to and from DFW.

DFW is 112 miles from Baylor, and Love Field (DAL) is 103 miles. The Austin airport (AUS) is 113 miles. Click here for a map of airport locations. There are no easy transfer options from the Austin Airport (AUS). But there is a van service from DFW and Love Field (DAL) to Waco, www.waco-streak.com. This service MUST be booked in advance as it regularly fills up.

Some of the hotels offer shuttle service from the Waco Airport (ACT).

Of course, car rentals are available as well.

Accommodation

Several hotels in Waco have agreed to conference rates on a limited number of rooms.

Hotel Indigo:  $139/night (plus taxes and fees) for king or double queen room BOOK HERE

Local Transportation

Waco has a very limited public transportation system. See www.waco-texas.com/transit for details. Make sure and check their service to the university as it is most likely suspended during the conference which is Baylor’s spring break. Waco does have a taxi service, www.wacotaxi.com, and many ridesharing services (Uber, Lyft, etc) are active as well.
