Outreach

Please contact us with outreach opportunities!

We are committed to sharing our skills and findings with others and to providing educational, service, and policy outreach. We engage in a range of outreach activities at Baylor, in Waco, in Ecuador, and elsewhere. We are members of Baylor Mayborn Museum’s Portal to the Public Network, regularly discuss our research with student organizations (e.g., BURST), and love to volunteer at local elementary science fairs, among other activities. With funding from CIFAR and The Jacobs Foundation, we are involved in a collaborative international project (starting Fall 2021) with the goal of improving data visualization and communication to the public. Importantly, we also discuss and share data with policy makers at the local, national, and international levels, with the goal of improving child and Indigenous health outcomes.
