Tyler Cook

Tyler Cook serves as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Splunk, having spent similar roles at SAP and Salesforce in the past. His primary responsibilities involve acting as a technical liaison to the customer/account team. He strategizes with account executives to plan solution definitions and leads technical discovery calls.

Tyler started his career through AT&T’s B2B sales college hire program. He majored in ProSales at Baylor University and appreciates the sense of community and common goals within the program.

One of his notable achievements is transitioning into a technical role, which he had wanted to do for a while before finding a team and manager willing to mentor him.

Tyler is involved with the Pre-sales Collective and Habitat for Humanity, which has helped him build a wide network and navigate job markets and career changes. His advice to students is to take advantage of the knowledge from professors and peers, as it can set them up for a successful career.
