Luke Parazynski is a Senior Account Executive at ThoughtSpot, where he has advanced through roles as Commercial AE, Team Lead, and now Sr. AE. He specializes in new business development for ThoughtSpot’s AI-driven analytics platform, with a strong focus on Embedded Analytics for digital-native product and engineering teams. As a Team Lead, Luke managed two sales reps while continuing to bring new customers onto ThoughtSpot’s embedded solutions.
In his current role, Luke runs full-cycle sales, from discovery and demos to proof-of-concepts, negotiation, and closing. He partners closely with solutions engineers, product teams, and channel partners to craft customized pitches that tie technical capabilities like SpotIQ, AI Search, and Spotter to clear business value. Luke excels at customer-centric selling, mapping pain points to solutions in self-serve BI, GenAI/NLP, and modern cloud analytics. He maintains a disciplined pipeline, delivers accurate forecasts, and consistently exceeds quota.
Luke began his career at Paycom after his successful internship, earning a fast promotion to Executive Sales Representative and later achieving President’s Club honors at both Paycom and ThoughtSpot.
A graduate of Baylor University’s Professional Selling program, Luke’s favorite class was Dr. Fifield’s Intro to Sales, and one of his most memorable moments was sprinting through Fountain Mall during Line Camp.
Personally, Luke is proud of his ongoing support for his sister’s school, Avondale House, which serves students with special needs. He has volunteered with St. Alphonsus Church in Chicago and previously mentored children with special needs through Arc of the Capital Area.
Luke’s advice to students: Soak it all in. Be coachable, learn from your professors, and embrace every competition. Those lessons will pay dividends in your career.
