Sales Territory Manager

Kat Vines is the Territory Manager for Houston at Continental ContiTech, overseeing five product groups, including Industrial Hose, Hydraulics Hose, Power Transmission, Conveyor Belts, and Air Springs, across East Texas, from Lake Charles, LA to Waco, TX. She manages roughly 150 distributor accounts and end-users, supporting product training, joint calls, prospecting, and account management. Since officially taking over the Houston territory in January 2025, Kat has built systems and strategies that drive results, effectively functioning as the “CEO” of her territory.
Kat began her career at Continental ContiTech after graduating from the Baylor ProSales program in 2024 with a minor in French. Highlights of her Baylor experience include studying abroad in Europe and participating in ProSales recruitment and student interviews.
Her proudest accomplishment has been growing into her current role, mastering a new industry, learning complex products, and developing self-motivation and leadership skills that have enabled her success in a pivotal sales territory.
Kat advises future sales professionals to treat their college curriculum like a 9-to-5 job, building habits and systems early to set themselves up for long-term success.
