Josh’s journey began with Shaw’s training program, followed by a flooring sales role in Delaware, where he engaged with approximately 60 flooring retailers. In this position, Josh focused on articulating the benefits of Shaw’s products to help retailers expand their businesses and boost sales. 

In September 2022, Josh embraced a new opportunity as the Territory Manager of New England for Shaw Sports Turf. In this role, his daily activities involve meetings with athletic directors, facilities managers, and procurement managers to highlight the advantages of installing Shaw’s turf products for athletic fields. 

As a Territory Manager, Josh’s primary responsibility is to sell turf, infill, and pad products to end-users, typically schools or towns, for their athletic fields. He collaborates with a major general contractor to assist schools in building or renovating sports fields and stadiums. 

Josh’s journey with Shaw began right after college, starting as a Sales Trainee. After extensive classroom and field training across various locations, he received a residential and commercial flooring territory in Delaware and Maryland. A year and a half later, he moved back to his hometown in New England and assumed his current role in the turf division. 

A 2020 graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Professional Selling and Business Fellows, Josh cherishes the Negotiations and Conflict Resolution class with Judge Wright as his favorite. He emphasizes that the lessons from this class continue to benefit him daily. 

While he has achieved various professional milestones, Josh considers his marriage in May 2019 as his greatest accomplishment and point of pride. Married to Emily, they have experienced numerous adventures and witnessed God’s miraculous interventions in their lives. Putting down roots in New Hampshire, they continue building a life together. 

Volunteering holds significant importance in Josh’s life. He has volunteered in his church and served as a youth football coach. Despite a recent move, he is eager to engage in new volunteer opportunities in his church and return to coaching youth football. 

For aspiring professionals, Josh advises trusting the process. He highlights the remarkable opportunities created by the Pro Sales program and emphasizes the importance of taking every interview and assignment seriously. Above all, he encourages individuals to trust God’s specific process, even if it differs from their expectations, as it leads to a more abundant life.
