Jacob Wassell has been with Ethicon for 2.5 years. He started in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Sales Training Representative and later moved to Newport Beach, California, to join the field sales organization. After five months as an Associate Account Executive, he was promoted to the role of Account Executive, where he covers 12 hospitals in Orange County.
In his current role, Jacob is responsible for four product portfolios and serves 12 hospitals in his territory. His day-to-day activities involve being in surgery, supporting the use of his products with current users, and identifying opportunities for growth. Jacob began his career as a Sales Training Representative.
Jacob graduated from Baylor University’s ProSales program in 2021 and particularly enjoyed ProSales 2, where Dr. Dixon’s teaching closely mirrored activities in a full-time sales role. He emphasizes the value of fully engaging in ProSales and taking advantage of everything the program has to offer, as it can prepare students for a successful career in sales, regardless of their chosen direction.
