Dane Harris is a seasoned professional who joined Deloitte in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from a career spanning over three decades. His expertise lies in developing authentic and trustworthy relationships, creating dynamic strategy and execution plans, and delivering cutting-edge technology and business process excellence for global clients. Dane is known for his negotiation skills, balancing client value with revenue and margin goals, and his extensive record of military leadership.
In his current role, Dane is responsible for two Dallas-based clients, American Airlines and Yum! Brands. His days are filled with onsite meetings with stakeholders, where he collaborates with Deloitte professionals from various disciplines to build customized solutions addressing critical issues. Dane’s career began at a Houston-based services company called NightRider, primarily serving law firms with back-office support services. He is a Baylor alumnus with a BBA in Marketing & Management from the 1980s.
Professionally, Dane holds two significant accomplishments. One was being recognized at PepsiCo, a client of his company, for his unwavering integrity. His military career has also left a lasting impression on him, mentoring and counseling soldiers through challenging life situations. On a personal note, Dane takes immense pride in his family, including his wife and four children. He actively engages with veterans’ organizations and co-founded a youth sports non-profit.
