Federal Account Executive
Salesforce
Caleb Simmons is an Account Executive at Salesforce, where drives revenue growth and leads strategic conversations across emerging technologies. He began his Salesforce career selling Tableau to enterprise Finance and Insurance organizations before transitioning to the Federal team, where he now supports digital and agentic technology initiatives for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
In his current role, Caleb focuses on prospecting, pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and coordinating complex conversations around cutting-edge agentic solutions. His day-to-day work requires navigating a broad spectrum of stakeholders and acting as a conduit between technical experts and customer needs, turning high-level innovation into practical outcomes for federal clients.
Caleb began his career with Reynolds and Reynolds, the first company to invest in him as a young professional out of Baylor University. He credits the Professional Selling program for shaping the foundational skills he uses every day, particularly in negotiation and giving and receiving feedback, competencies refined under the mentorship of Dr. Andrea Dixon.
Personally and professionally, Caleb views his greatest accomplishment as seeking the Lord’s guidance in every decision. His faith has directed his career path, family life, and community involvement, leading him to his wife, his church community, and opportunities that align with his values. Today, with an 11-month-old daughter, he volunteers with Passion City Church DC, where he has learned to approach conflict and conversations with grace—skills he carries into his work at Salesforce.
Caleb’s advice to students: Consider yourself blessed to be in the ProSales program. Everything you learn has purpose, and these skills will serve you for the rest of your life whether you stay in sales or take a different path.
