As a member of the Salesforce sales team, Caleb Simmons serves as a Named Account Executive for Tableau, focusing on the Social Security Administration, EPA/GAO, and U.S. Tribal Health and Governance. His responsibilities include selling new business and ensuring successful renewals, while closely collaborating with clients to help them meet their growth objectives. His day-to-day role involves a mix of customer interactions, strategy development, and partner engagement.
Caleb’s career journey began at Reynolds and Reynolds, where he worked as a Territory Account Manager before transitioning to Salesforce. A graduate of Baylor University’s ProSales program, Caleb frequently reflects on the lessons he learned there – particularly from his Negotiations course, which he credits as critical to his success in both the private and public sectors.
Professionally, Caleb’s proudest accomplishment is integrating his faith into his work, starting each day with prayer and trusting in God’s guidance for his sales efforts. He emphasizes that success is not always a direct result of hard work but also depends on where God leads him. Personally, Caleb is proud of his beautiful Washington, DC-based family, that includes his wife and their baby daughter.
In addition to his professional career, Caleb volunteers with Passion City Church DC as a Producer, where he has honed his communication and leadership skills in a God-honoring way. His advice to the next generation is simple yet powerful: “The sales world needs you. Keep pushing forward and remember to always have faith in the process.”
