Andy Smith currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for TalkMeUp, Inc. In this role, Andy has been a part of TalkMeUp, Inc. for one year, taking charge of the sales and marketing organization. His responsibilities encompass ensuring the development of vital customer relationships and diagnosing their needs for improved persuasive communication skills. He also focuses on generating recurring revenue to meet investor and stakeholder expectations.
Andy’s role involves coaching his team members for performance and development, interacting with existing and prospective customers, and devising marketing campaigns and messaging to stimulate interest in TalkMeUp. His career journey began at the Xerox Corporation as a sales specialist in their Fort Worth, Texas office right after graduating from Baylor University. Andy pursued a major in Marketing at Baylor. His greatest professional accomplishment is the continuous growth and success he has witnessed in those who have worked with him, evolving into exceptional leaders in their own right.
On a personal note, Andy’s pride lies in convincing his wife to marry him and accompanying her in raising three kids who are thriving as adults, both professionally and personally. Outside his professional endeavors, Andy actively contributes to the Argyle Eagles Broadcasting, a non-profit online broadcasting organization that covers various sports events for Argyle High School. He raises nearly $400,000 per year in sponsorships for the athletic booster club. Additionally, he serves as an advisor for the OneHeart organization, a non-profit focused on inspiring and enabling incarcerated youth to lead thriving lives outside of the juvenile justice system.
