Tyler Hewitt

Tyler Hewitt has been contributing to the OSU Foundation, supporting the development efforts of the Spears School of Business, for almost nine years. In her current role as Senior Director of Development & Team Lead, Tyler leads all fundraising efforts to support the business school’s priorities while engaging business alumni and friends of OSU to align their interests with the university’s priorities. Tyler and her team engage with business alumni and friends of OSU, understanding their career experiences, and identifying ways they can give back to OSU. Their goal is to unite donor passions with university priorities to advance the business school and OSU. Tyler’s career path began with selling copiers for Xerox in DFW after graduating from Baylor University where she double majored in International Business and ProSales.

Tyler’s career success and personal pride come from her consistent efforts to advance professionally within each organization, stepping into leadership roles by being a team player, meeting goals consistently, and raising her hand for new opportunities. On a personal note, Tyler’s biggest pride is her family, including her husband and two little girls. She continually seeks professional development opportunities, including 1-on-1 coaching with outside firms as well as leadership training within her profession. Her best advice for sales professionals is to maintain a balance of remaining focused on both big-picture, annual goals while also being mindful of day-to-day productivity to ensure all goals are met.  She also advises our future business leaders to maintain integrity in all interactions, as those qualities and consistency lead to advancement within successful organizations.
