Sarah Vaughn works at Yardi Systems, where she has been for over two years. She appreciates the company culture at Yardi and enjoys her role there. She is responsible for the entire sales cycle, from start to finish, and also checks in on her current clients. Her day typically involves prospecting, cold calls, discovery calls, demos, and pricing proposals.

Sarah started at Yardi right after college as an Associate Account Executive and is still part of the same team. She has seen changes in her criteria and responsibilities over time and is proud to contribute to her team’s growth and improvement.

She majored in Professional Selling at Baylor University, where she gained essential skills through role-play competitions. Sarah had the opportunity to speak at Yardi’s Annual Sales Conference due to her success at the company. She recently achieved a personal goal of buying her own house.

Sarah is a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), which helps her engage with clients and deepen her knowledge of the challenges faced by condo and homeowner associations.

Her advice to students is to understand their motivation behind sales and use that as a driving force for success.
