Mike Kahley serves as the Vice President for Client Development in the National Accounts segment at UnitedHealthcare. He has been with UnitedHealthcare since 2018, working with Fortune 100 employers and their consultants to address unique challenges related to providing benefits that complement their Total Rewards strategy.
Mike has been in the healthcare space since 1997, holding various roles. He graduated from Baylor University in 1993 with a degree in History and Political Science.
His greatest personal accomplishment is raising two children who both attend Baylor University and share a passion for sales. Professionally, being named to manage one of their largest accounts after ten successful years with the company stands out.
Mike is actively involved with the CFO Leadership Council, which helps him further develop executive presence skills and build a professional network in the finance space.
His advice to students is to be cautious about chasing the biggest salary and to find a company with a great culture, trusted leaders, and a product or service they can be passionate about. Mike also encourages students to run towards problems and challenges, as that’s where they’ll learn and make a meaningful impact.
