Marisa Kahley has been with Coldwell Banker, APEX Realtors since January 2023. She is a residential Realtor serving the northern suburbs of the metroplex, primarily in Denton County.
Marisa started her real estate career while at Baylor and worked in new home sales during her breaks. After college, she transitioned to full-time new home sales before switching to corporate sales. In 2018, she entered the residential real estate field.
She attended Baylor University, majoring in Marketing and International Business with an emphasis in Professional Selling. During her time at Baylor, ProSales was not yet a major, but she particularly enjoyed the Professional Selling class and later took the graduate-level course as a senior.
Marisa’s greatest accomplishments include her 27-year marriage to Mike Kahley, a fellow Baylor graduate, and her three children. In her professional life, she takes pride in returning to the workforce as a Realtor and building a successful business.
Marisa is actively involved with her church, Younglife (specifically Younglives, which helps teen moms), and the Baylor ProSales program as a mentor. She enjoys watching the growth of the students she mentors in the program.
Her advice to Professional Selling students is to gain experience working with different kinds of people, as salespeople need to navigate diverse personalities and corporate and ethnic cultures regularly. She encourages students to study abroad, take leadership roles in student organizations, and volunteer in the community to better understand people’s needs during their careers.
