Laurel Foster is an SMB Account Executive at Canary Technologies, where she works with hotels and management companies across the U.S., offering software solutions designed to enhance the guest experience. In her fast-paced role, Laurel manages 10-15 demos a day, often completing rapport building, discovery, demos, and pricing discussions in a single call. The sales cycle typically spans a few weeks, requiring her to maintain high energy and focus.
Laurel’s career began as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Qualtrics, where she quickly excelled and progressed to a Mid-Market Account Executive role. It was here that she mastered the full sales cycle and built the foundation of her career in sales.
Laurel graduated from Baylor University in May 2020, where she majored in Professional Selling. Despite the challenges of entering the workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic, Laurel’s adaptability led her to secure a role at Qualtrics, where she advanced rapidly. She credits the ProSales program for preparing her for the business world and highly recommends the program for its rigorous professional development.
Outside of work, Laurel is deeply involved with Highland Park United Methodist Church, where she has volunteered with the youth program for several years-a role that brings great joy and fulfillment.
Laurel advises students to embrace the challenges and opportunities within the ProSales program. The early mornings, late nights, and professional development events are all vital in shaping students for long-term success, setting them apart from their peers in the business world.
