Doug Dixon

Doug Dixon’s journey with Texas Life began in 2014 when he joined as the Chief Sales Officer. In 2017, he ascended to the role of CEO. His responsibilities encompass setting strategy and vision, along with facilitating their execution. Prior to Texas Life, Doug started his career as a financial analyst in Boston, Massachusetts.

Doug’s educational background includes a BA in economics and management from Wittenberg University and an MBA in finance from Northeastern University. Professionally, he takes pride in his career trajectory, starting as an entry-level insurance agent and eventually becoming a CEO. On a personal level, his greatest accomplishment is marrying his wife.

Doug actively participates in organizations like the LIMRA Advisory Board and serves on the Waco Business League Board and Waco Industrial Foundation. He emphasizes the importance of learning all aspects of one’s organization, industry involvement, prioritizing integrity, and working diligently and intelligently.
