Beth Gosnell currently works as an Associate Product Account Manager at BMC Software, specializing in the Workflow Automation space. In this role, she helps organizations streamline and visualize mission-critical IT applications. She describes BMC as a place where you can learn, earn, and have fun.
In her day-to-day responsibilities, Beth focuses on account management and growth within existing accounts in the West Coast. She is also responsible for generating pipeline and new opportunities within new accounts, while actively working on other initiatives to impact the business positively.
Beth’s sales experience began with a start-up software company and later extended to a commercial manufacturing sales role. She has since returned to the software world and thoroughly enjoys the fast-paced nature of her current role.
She attributes her sales and professional development to her time at Baylor University, where she majored in Professional Selling. Her favorite class during this period was ProSales 2, where role plays and competitions prepared her for running successful sales calls.
Beth emphasizes the importance of adaptability. Personally, she underwent significant growth, moving from Canada to Baylor and experiencing transformative personal development. Professionally, her adaptability and ability to tackle challenges became evident in her first year at BMC, where she achieved over 100% of her quota and was rewarded with a trip to Club in Hawaii.
Beth is actively involved in various initiatives at BMC, including being a founding member of the Women in Sales Network and the Champion Academy. The Women in Sales Network supports women in succeeding and overcoming obstacles in their sales careers. The Champion Academy is her way of giving back to the ProSales program and upcoming sellers.
Additionally, Beth serves as a Young Life Leader in Houston and encourages students to say “YES” to every opportunity that comes their way.
