Ashley Dohlman began her career with Continental Tire, interning first with the Passenger and Light Truck team before moving into a full-time role focused on Truck Tire sales and supporting the rapid growth of Continental’s Texas market.
In her role, Ashley travels to major Texas cities to prospect new accounts, make in-person cold calls, and help dealers grow into national or fleet accounts. She also collaborates closely with Territory Sales Managers and dealer partners to communicate progress and uncover new opportunities.
Ashley graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Professional Selling. Her favorite experiences included her Negotiations course and a memorable assignment on rejection. Filming herself being rejected five times, pushed her out of her comfort zone and taught her the value of taking risks.
Professionally, she is proud of advocating for herself early in her career, speaking with her manager about expanding her responsibilities, which led to managing her own accounts. Personally, she considers living on her own in Dallas a meaningful milestone.
Her advice to students: Embrace the assignments and events that push you outside your comfort zone. They are often the ones that shape you the most.
