Ann Petricca
Global Key Account Manager – Automotive
Formerra LLC

Ann Petricca’s journey with Formerra, formerly known as Avient and PolyOne Distribution, began in 2013 when she joined the organization as a Sales Associate. Over the past decade, she has made significant strides within the company, currently holding the position of Automotive Key Account Manager. In her current role, she collaborates with Electric Vehicle (EV) OEMs to provide polymer solutions for various applications, including interiors, exteriors, lighting, and batteries.

Ann’s day-to-day responsibilities encompass two main roles: company-facing and customer-facing. Internally, she is responsible for shaping Formerra’s overall strategy for EV OEMs. Externally, she engages directly with EV OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to assist them in achieving their material, financial, and sustainability objectives.

Before her time at Baylor University, Ann owned and operated a classic car restoration business, which she sold in 2011 to pursue her degree. She initially pursued a degree in Marketing at Baylor based on her interests and experience. However, after a summer internship, she discovered her passion for cascading marketing strategies down to customers, making a direct, visible impact on partnerships. This passion, combined with her love for cars and her interest in sustainability and environmental initiatives, has led to a successful career at Formerra.

Ann graduated from Baylor with a degree in Marketing, focusing on Professional Sales and Real Estate Finance. She looks back on her Baylor experience with appreciation, highlighting the Professional Sales classes as some of her favorites. These classes played a vital role in preparing her for her career and day-to-day life.

Professionally, Ann has achieved many milestones, including business ownership and multiple sales awards and accolades. However, her proudest accomplishment is successfully integrating her passion into her career while maintaining a work-life balance to be a dedicated mother to a wonderful three-year-old.

Her advice to current students is to embrace the college experience, understanding that all the assignments, meetings, and experiences will ultimately prepare them for their careers and life after Baylor. Above all, she encourages them to have fun along the way.
