Scott Bartell boasts over 16 years of dedicated service with Adobe, currently holding the position of Senior Director leading the Americas Inside Sales team. In this strategic role, he focuses on key sales initiatives, team leadership, and oversight of the Adobe Sales Academy. Over the years, Scott has played pivotal roles in Adobe’s growth, including Director of Worldwide Sales Operations and Director of Worldwide Maintenance & Support Sales.
Scott’s primary responsibilities revolve around leadership and strategy for a large sales team. He provides guidance and support to his team, ensuring they meet performance indicators and quotas. His role includes developing and executing sales go-to-market strategies aligned with Adobe’s broader objectives. Additionally, Scott leads the Adobe Sales Academy program, overseeing the recruitment and training of new talent. Analyzing sales data, tracking performance metrics, and fostering collaboration across different departments are integral aspects of his daily routine.
Before joining Adobe, Scott commenced his post-law career at Borland Software in 1999, where he held various positions, managing sales operations, inside sales, and product management. His diverse experiences laid a solid foundation for his leadership roles in operations, e-commerce, and sales.
Scott pursued his undergraduate studies at UCLA, majoring in History and Political Science, and later completed a combined JD/MBA program at Pepperdine University. Engaging closely with professors whose teaching styles resonated with him enriched his academic experience and understanding.
Scott’s most significant accomplishment, both professionally and personally, lies in the development of his senior leadership team at Adobe. This team’s collective contributions have played a crucial role in driving Adobe’s success. Outside of work, Scott is actively involved in volunteering with organizations connected to his church and children’s school, finding fulfillment in contributing to the local community.
