Clif Wiegand joined Blend Supply on March 1, 2016, during the company’s rebranding and refocusing phase on Aerospace Paint and MRO shops. Initially small and operating much like a startup, Clif’s navigated numerous projects. Starting as Sales Operations, his responsibilities encompassed distribution centers, sales teams, and operational areas. Over time, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Vendor Relations were added to his purview.
In 2020, Blend Supply moved its headquarters and restructured, requiring a small management team to oversee critical areas while maintaining the organization’s flat structure. Clif accepted the role of Executive Vice President during this transition. In his current role, Clif ensures the company’s health by supporting managers, casting vision, planning steps, and finding the best ways for teams to meet clients’ needs. His daily responsibilities include formal and informal meetings with teams and leaders, planning and strategizing, tracking information through dashboards, and collaborating with manufacturing, technology, and support partners.
Clif’s career began after attending Texas A&M University, where he earned a degree in Political Science. He was highly involved in college life, including Younglife, student government, and leadership organizations. After college, Clif moved to Washington D.C. and worked at the American Bankers Association in Government Relations. He later attended law school at SMU in Dallas, graduating in 2001. Following the revocation of a job offer after 9/11, Clif persevered through various roles until joining a congressional campaign, gaining invaluable mentorship and experience.
Personally, Clif’s greatest accomplishment is rooted in his identity as a child of God, and he attributes his achievements to God’s love. Professionally, he values the people who have poured into his life, enabling him to positively impact others. His favorite quote, “you cannot impart what you don’t possess,” underscores his commitment to continual learning and achievement to benefit others.
Clif strongly believes in volunteering and giving back to organizations. He has served on ministry boards, church leadership roles, counseling groups, the Fort Worth Commercial Property Board, and various non-profits. These experiences have broadened his learning, forced him to understand new concepts, and enhanced his skills for his role at Blend Supply and personally. His advice to students is to make a habit of learning and applying what they learn.
