Charlie Latch holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Management Systems from Baylor University, and completed the executive program in business strategy at The Stanford Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. During his career, Charlie has come full circle with the big 4 accounting firms. He began in consulting at Ernst, before spending 20+ years in Silicon Valley technology companies and then returning to big 4 consulting when joining PwC in 2018.
In his current role, Charlie is a Managing Director in the firm, leading product sales for their Products & Solutions business. He previously led sales for PwC New Ventures, the software as a service (SaaS) incubator at PwC. Prior to PwC, Charlie led Strategic Accounts and Alliances at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, responsible for the company’s largest customers and partners. His day typically involves evaluating sales effectiveness, building organization and go-to-market plans for new products, growing and developing salespeople, and motivating the salesforce to perform at scale and have fun doing it.
Over the years, Charlie has learned to embrace the craft of sales as a proud and noble profession. “When it comes down to it, there are only two types of people in every successful business: those who sell and those who support those who sell. Own the strategic value you bring to your organization.”
While embracing sales, Charlie has maintained his solid, loving marriage (for more than 30 years) and family. His greatest accomplishment professionally is building his sales career, ultimately delivering $4.5B in technology sales over the last few decades.
