Adam Sammons

Adam currently works for Marsh McLennan Agency, as the Senior Vice President for Nonprofit Practices. He started with an insurance brokerage firm in 2010, called MHBT, before it was acquired by Marsh McLennan Agency. He had the opportunity to lead the Nonprofit Practice, which they call “Mission Driven Team”. The team’s sole purpose is to make mission-minded nonprofit organizations across the country engaged in work that believe in as efficient and effective as possible.

Adam has a heart to serve and is guided by his Christian faith. Upon graduating from Baylor University with a major in Marketing, he spent his first two years out of college serving as the Executive Director for a local youth-serving nonprofit organization in Dallas, TX. The ministry today is thriving for that nonprofit.

In addition to work, he helps recruit, mentor and support young brokers in the Dallas office. He is also involved in the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas, serving as a Chairman of the Board. He is touched by his “Charlie Sammons Service & Leadership Award”, when he was recognized as the Young Agent of the Year in 2014. The award was named after his dad after he passed away in 2004.
