Shirley C Hunter is an experienced Sales Vice President and Partnership Strategist with a career spanning four decades in the technology industry. She has held significant roles at companies like NCR, Teradata, and Oracle. Shirley currently serves as a mentor to senior sales executives and emerging sales professionals. She is also actively involved as a volunteer with the Coastal Prairie Conservancy and the Houston Food Bank.

Early in her career, Shirley was introduced to the Vice President of the Southwest Region’s Retail sector at NCR through networking. This connection led to her role in collaborating directly with clients to identify opportunities for enhancing business performance.

She pursued her undergraduate education at Baylor University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. Shirley strategically selected electives in business disciplines like marketing, accounting, and economics, which positioned her for success upon graduation.

Throughout her sales career, Shirley consistently exceeded quantitative sales targets, achieving this in 33 out of 36 years. She also shared a fulfilling journey of mentoring over 30 Baylor University students during her 42-year marriage, providing guidance and support.
