Student Feature – Samantha Weare

Samantha says that if she could be described in just one word, it would have to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, an adjective meaning extraordinarily good or wonderful. Before coming to Baylor, Samantha grew up training in classical ballet at the Texas Ballet Theater School. She is currently President of the Baylor Latin Dance Society, so she has been able to continue dancing in college. Samantha is also a member of the Baylor Jiu Jitsu club and boxes with the Baylor Group X where she will soon be teaching boxing lessons.

A dual major in ProSales and Spanish, Samantha is grateful the program has taught her how to listen effectively to others and watch for non-verbal cues. She has applied these skills to her life outside of the classroom, particularly in boxing and Jiu Jitsu as these are disciplines that require listening and attention to non-verbal cues. When she begins her career, Samantha looks forward to bringing supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to 3M.
