Student Feature – Jake Regan
Jake Regan is quite well rounded. He earned a black belt in Taekwondo, logged more than fifty hours of pilot time in a Cessna 172, visited all 50 states, Germany and the Czech Republic, and snorkeled and dove at North America’s only coral reef. Jake is also a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, where he helped raise more than $25,000 dollars last fall for their philanthropy, the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Jake feels that he has been privileged to have accomplished so much in life and feels passionate about giving back “in a big way.”
Before he joined the ProSales program, Jake was hesitant about giving presentations and networking with others. He says that the program has taught him to give well thought out, thorough, and attention-holding presentations. These skills have allowed him to become confident at giving presentations, in any type of situation. Jake has also learned about the value of networking. While it was daunting at first, Jake has become a strong networker. Jake is looking forward to his position with Qualtrics after graduation.
