Currently serving as an Enterprise Account Executive at Obsidian Security, Pierce specializes in protecting SaaS and cloud services from account takeover, insider threats, and identity sprawl by monitoring access and entitlements.
Before joining Obsidian Security, Pierce held the position of Senior Account Executive at CoreStack, a company dedicated to empowering enterprises to achieve continuous and autonomous Cloud Governance at scale.
Prior to his role at CoreStack, Pierce served as a Regional Sales Manager at Splunk, a company focused on making machine data accessible, usable, and valuable. During his tenure, Pierce contributed to providing organizations with insights into IT, security, and business challenges.
Pierce’s career also includes a significant period at AppDynamics, in various roles, including Manager of Business Development and Territory Account Manager. He played a key role in AppDynamics’ hyper-growth phase, contributing to the company’s mission of doing something special in the software industry.
Education-wise, Pierce holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in ProSales from Baylor University, where he actively engaged in activities such as Pi Kappa Phi and the Baylor Driving Club. Beyond his professional endeavors, Pierce enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, being involved with the local church, cycling, traditional woodworking, exploring classic cars, and listening to vinyl.
