Lindsey Cienski is a Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin Space, Commercial Civil Space, working remotely. In her role, she supports the Orion Mission Unique Program Manager and assists in integrating Orion Mission Support Package (MSP) changes. Her responsibilities include proposal preparation, tracking and managing contractual changes, and ensuring requirements are met within budget and on time. Lindsey previously worked on the Orion program as a project engineer and contracts negotiator. Before joining Lockheed Martin Space, she worked in contracts for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Palmdale, California, supporting Skunk Works.
Lindsey’s career journey has taken her through various positions, including Account Manager at PolyOne Corporation, where she provided product design and development support, material selection advice, and supply chain consulting.
She attended Baylor University, majoring in Professional Selling. Lindsey is also completing her MBA while progressing in her career at Lockheed Martin.
Her greatest professional accomplishment, albeit with some recency bias, is achieving over 160% of her sales target and earning a place in the President’s club at ThoughtSpot, her current company. On a personal note, one of her favorite achievements was raising over $7,000 for her sister’s school, Avondale House, in Houston.
Lindsey is actively involved with organizations like The Arc of the Capital Area, Delta Tau Delta, and Baylor Helping Hands. She also supports FOCUS, an organization dedicated to helping those in need worldwide.
Her advice to students is to be a sponge, learn from professors and peers, and apply what they’ve learned to their careers.
