Rodney Bass

Rodney Bass serves as a Business Development Director for BI WORLDWIDE, a position he has held since 2012. In 2022, he relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, from Houston, Texas, to manage one of their largest customers in the Great Lakes Region.

In his current role, Rodney manages all business with one of their largest U.S. customers, developing relationships with VP and C-Level executives across the enterprise. He ensures that BI WORLDWIDE’s solutions drive measurable results and meet expectations, and he continually looks for innovative solutions to benefit their business.

Rodney began his sales career in 1997 with a focus on selling Miller brand products for a beer distributor. Over the years, he transitioned to roles that aligned with his interests and strengths as a salesperson.

He graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Marketing, although he originally intended to pursue sales. Rodney’s greatest personal accomplishment is raising two amazing boys who both attend Baylor University and share his passion for sales. Professionally, he considers being named to manage one of their largest accounts after ten successful years with the company as a significant achievement.

Rodney has been actively involved with the American Marketing Association, where he built a robust network of personal and professional connections that provided valuable introductions and referrals.

His advice to aspiring sales professionals is to recognize that professional selling can be a great career and a wonderful way to build relationships across the spectrum. He emphasizes the importance of asking the best questions and being the best listener possible.
