A Creative Force
From a young age, Paris Musto displayed an entrepreneurial flare that set her on a path of innovation and creativity. At just nine years old, she was crafting and selling handmade jewelry, a testament to her early business acumen. This entrepreneurial drive continued to flourish as she ventured into the online slime business at the age of 13, receiving a staggering 300 orders, and later, at 17, she launched her own tie-dye clothing company that garnered over 1000 orders. Her venture into tie-dye clothing included crafting vibrant t-shirts and even Nike socks, showcasing her ability to infuse creativity into her business endeavors. Paris’s remarkable entrepreneurial journey is a testament to her ambition, self-starting capabilities, and her commitment to fostering innovative ideas. Her passion for creativity extends to her artistic pursuits, encompassing painting, sewing, and crocheting, all of which reflect her exceptional creativity.
Paris’s commitment to leadership and creativity extends beyond her entrepreneurial ventures. During her junior year, she assumed the role of Director of Merchandising for Women in Business, where her creative talents shone as she designed and ordered merchandise items for members. Her artistic prowess, coupled with leadership skills, allowed her to excel in this role, which involved managing vendor relations and leading a committee of five other talented women. In her upcoming role as External Vice President for the HSO, Paris is eager to lead an initiative focused on producing merchandise for business students, utilizing any profits to create enjoyable events during the intense finals season. Her commitment to improving the culture within the business school and giving back to her fellow students reflects her dedication to fostering a supportive community.
Paris’s experience in the Baylor ProSales program has equipped her with invaluable life lessons. She emphasizes the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone, a lesson she learned firsthand as she grew from a reserved individual into a confident professional capable of tackling challenging tasks. Furthermore, the program instilled in her the significance of serving others, a principle she has seamlessly integrated into her personal life. The skills Paris acquired through ProSales have transcended her academic pursuits, making her a more effective communicator in her leadership roles. Paris’s newfound perspective on leadership revolves around servitude, a quality she has consistently applied in her various roles, further emphasizing the powerful impact of serving others.
