A People-Minded Problem Solver

Hailing from Florida and having a love of travel and language, Ruby Hernandez enjoys exploring new places where she can practice her Spanish and Italian. Passionate about building meaningful relationships, she has a knack for making others comfortable and is always willing to lend a listening ear or engage in conversation.

Added to this passion for people is her skill for solving problems. Participating in the Baker Hughes Externship – Solution Selling for Women, Ruby had the opportunity to put her problem solving to the test by collaborating with students across Texas to present their case recommendations to Baker Hughes executives. She also enjoyed honing her networking skills, learning about innovative digital solutions, and growing through feedback from members of ASPIRE, Baker Hughes’ career development program.

Ruby is grateful to the ProSales program for helping her grow in confidence and overcome her fears. ProSales has shown her the value of networking and the art of creating value for others through selling. Her favorite part of the program has been the Baylor Business Ethics Competition, where her team was able to present a positive solution to the case while bonding as a group. Ruby is excited to combine her passions for people, problem solving, and travel as she begins her sales career.
