Student Feature – Cole Edmiston

It’s magical when the skills you develop in school translate well to everyday life. Cole Edmiston finds that the skills acquired through ProSales are very useful in his everyday pursuits. Oriented toward listening over talking, Cole learned to ask simple questions to engage others and listen. With a focus on learning through conversation, Cole is inspired by the people he meets and the connections that result from being a good listener. Being a good listener fuels Cole’s experiences in large-group settings as well. Elected 1st Team Big 12 All-Academic for the 2015 Baylor Football season, Cole listens to his teammates and makes a difference in their lives. Cole excels academically in both the ProSales program and with a second major in Finance. Striving to do and be his best self, Cole is focused on this faith, family, education and sports. He still finds time to enjoy beach volleyball and bass fishing. Cole looks forward to beginning his sales career with Merrill Lynch, integrating his major fields of study, his leadership experiences and his real desire to listen to others.
