Student Feature – Clayton Whitener
For many, committing to one thing is a serious challenge. What’s a “passion” one day quickly fades away and new hobbies appear. For senior Clayton Whitener, soccer was more than a hobby. Clayton has played soccer since he was seven and competed throughout high school. At Baylor, Clayton participated in intramural soccer, further continuing his love for the sport. Despite his commitment to intramurals and fraternity, Clayton excelled in the Professional Selling program. Always diligent, Clayton carefully budgeted time to allow himself to fully engage in sales competitions, group projects, and internships. Ultimately, Clayton credits the ProSales program with giving him a head start in professional communication and networking skills. Following graduation, Clayton looks forward to beginning a full-time sales career with PolyOne and investing fully into his clients on a daily basis.
