Student Feature – Annah Smith

Growing up in Siberia in a missionary family, senior Annah Smith developed a strong desire to serve her community. Continuing that trend, Annah has volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations throughout her time at Baylor. As a member of Baylor’s International Justice Mission, Annah found fulfillment in finding ways to help end modern-day slavery. In a similar way, Annah helped launch She is Freedom, an organization dedicated to building a safe house and bringing restoration to juvenile victims of human trafficking. Connecting her values to the sales area, Annah credits the ProSales program with allowing her to utilize her go-getter and go-giver mindsets in business. Always up for the challenge, Annah found the internal competition among her classmates to be a strong motivation and enjoyed the numerous networking opportunities that the program provides. After graduation, Annah will continue serving her community and her industry as she begins her career with Oracle.
