Student Feature – Lindsey Regan

Lindsey Regan is no stranger to working hard to achieve her goals. A competitive drive to work her way to success began at age 8 and grew as Lindsey swam competitively for 10 years. Now a senior Professional Selling major from Austin, Texas, Lindsey has also leveraged that competitive drive to work hard and finance her college education.

At Baylor, Lindsey worked as a lifeguard as well as manager at the Student Life Center where she ran monthly staff meetings and trainings for 40 lifeguards. In addition, Lindsey was an Advertising Sales Representative for the Baylor Lariat, where she generated over $16,000 in newspaper advertising sales during Spring 2014. Juggling work and school has proved difficult, however according to Lindsey “when I am at work, I focus on being fully invested in my work; and while I am at school, I am fully invested in my schoolwork. I have found by doing this, my relationships have grown stronger, and the quality of work I produce has improved.”
