Student Feature – Sean Fulton
Sean Fulton, a senior ProSales and finance major from Lubbock, TX, amassed a long list of leadership accomplishments during his tenure at Baylor. After Sean’s initial exposure to ProSales and the Professional Development Program (PDP), he was ready to expand his roles on Baylor’s campus. “The ProSales program strongly develops student skills in the areas of leadership, administration, and communication. Combining these skills with a strong work-ethics propels ProSales students to become leaders in other areas,” said Fulton.
Sean expanded his role in his fraternity by winning a delegate’s seat on The Interfraternity Council (IFC) in 2012. In 2013, Sean was elected as the IFC president and while also serving as vice-president of his fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega. Additionally, Sean was awarded the distinguished Greek-Man-of-the-Year honor in 2013, which recognizes commitment to community leadership at Baylor.
“If I tried to take on these responsibilities without going through the ProSales major, I would have struggled and possibly failed,” said Fulton. “My overall leadership skills and professionalism have improved since joining this comprehensive major. ProSales showed me how to plan and feel more confident allowing me to better manage such responsibilities.”
