ProSales Students “Ready” to Lead Lives of Impact, Release Video Promotion

ProSales promotional video released by Baylor Business School

Last fall, the U.S. Department of Labor reported that 40 percent of the nation’s business talent will retire by 2016, leaving a prime opportunity for young business professionals to make an impact early in their careers. Through a recently-released video from Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business, the university recognizes this opportunity and highlights the Center for Professional Selling’s mission to prepare students who are “ready” to fill the void.

The promotional video (“We Are Ready“) was directed by Bailey Eubanks (BA ’11, MA ’13) and was produced in partnership with Hankamer’s Department of Communication and Marketing and the Center for Professional Selling. The script was developed and footage was shot throughout the 2012-2013 academic year. Over 14 students majoring in Professional Selling are featured in the video.

“Throughout production of the video, I experienced the quality of the Professional Selling program first-hand,” said Eubanks. “The Center for Professional Selling faculty, staff, and students are passionate about education and the real-world experience they gain in the program.

The students live-out the messages they communicate in the video about the impact of the program.”

The video emphasizes the Center’s focus on empowering students to make an impact in their communities, companies, and around the globe – “wherever they are called to serve.” Students are featured in a number of settings, including the local business community and in Fortune 500 company offices.

“Our students are eager to discover how they can use their talents to influence the global business landscape,” said Dr. Andrea Dixon, executive director of Baylor’s Center for Professional Selling. “Whether our students are called to Dallas, Boston, or Hong Kong, we equip them for successful careers.

Capturing a snapshot of our Center’s mission in video-form has been a wonderful opportunity for our students and our program.”
