Josie Rice – Dancing through Challenges with Resilience

Jack Sargent is a someone who thrives on challenges and continuous growth. His approach to life is driven by the belief that unintentional growth is intentional decay. Jack pushes himself spiritually, intellectually, and physically, leading to a variety of enriching experiences. He spent two summers in Orlando working at Disney World, where he learned to share the gospel with others. Intellectually, he challenges himself by interviewing theologians, philosophers, and students on his podcast. Physically, he sets ambitious goals, such as completing Ironman triathlons and marathons. Jack finds joy in discovering his limits and has recently expanded his horizons through travel, spending last summer in Europe and planning a trip to Malaysia this spring.

Jack’s involvement in campus ministry and organizations reflects his dedication to his faith and leadership. As a member of STUMO, he has learned to be passionate about Jesus and share his faith through discipleship. His role as treasurer of the ATO fraternity was a significant challenge, where he managed over $160,000 and communicated with 15 different committees. Additionally, playing soccer for the Baylor club team during his freshman year taught him valuable time management skills. Jack’s commitment to his faith and leadership is evident in his active participation and the responsibilities he undertakes.

The ProSales program has been instrumental in shaping Jack’s skills and character. He has learned the importance of diligence, attention to detail, and selflessness. The program has provided him with opportunities for constant improvement and the chance to help others. Jack has developed active listening skills, which have made him a better friend, gospel sharer, and organization member. His passion for his faith drives him to work hard for the Lord, as inspired by Colossians 3:23. Jack’s favorite part of the ProSales program is the supportive community, which has become like a family to him. He cherishes the friendships he has formed and the joy of supporting others in their achievements.
