Tyra Humphreys – Bridging Communities with Passion and Perseverance

Tyra Humphreys is a charismatic and determined individual double majoring in ProSales and Finance at Baylor University. As an international student from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada, Tyra’s experiences growing up along the river have shaped her love for outdoor activities such as waterskiing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Moving between cultures has given her a unique perspective and the ability to build meaningful connections quickly, a skill she carries into every aspect of her academic and professional journey. Her passion for embracing different communities is reflected in her involvement with her sorority, where she has found a supportive network of peers who share her enthusiasm for growth and success.

Being part of the ProSales program has been a transformative experience for Tyra, teaching her the values of persistence, passion, and personability. ProSales has honed her ability to actively listen, apply feedback, and navigate real-world sales scenarios, preparing her for the dynamic demands of a business career. Beyond the technical skills, Tyra’s hands-on learning has reinforced the importance of resilience and building genuine relationships, which drive her commitment to adding value to others. Her passion for service, inspired by her parents’ example during her mother’s battle with cancer, has shaped her lifelong dedication to helping others and making a positive impact.
