Jonathan Buras – Faithful Achiever and Purpose-Driven Leader
Jonathan Buras is a driven and dedicated individual double majoring in Supply Chain Management and ProSales at Baylor University. Growing up in Waco, Jonathan’s life has been filled with diverse experiences, from living in Scotland as a child to pursuing his many hobbies like playing guitar, hunting, fishing, and basketball. At the time of writing, Jonathan is preparing for an incredible mission trip to Malaysia with his best friends and mentor, showcasing his passion for faith and adventure. These unique moments have shaped Jonathan into a well-rounded, goal-oriented individual eager to make a meaningful impact.
Through his involvement with Student Mobilization (Stumo), Jonathan has demonstrated his commitment to leadership and personal growth. Leading Bible study groups, sharing his testimony, and participating in the Kaleo summer project have allowed him to pour into others while deepening his faith. The ProSales program has also been pivotal in Jonathan’s journey, teaching him how to handle increasing responsibilities, work more efficiently, and manage his time effectively. These lessons have not only enhanced his professional skill set but have also made him a more intentional friend and leader.
Jonathan is passionate about self-improvement and staying true to his values. Whether training for a marathon or preparing for his career, he continually raises the bar for himself, always striving to excel. His favorite part of ProSales is its practicality and how it equips students for real-world challenges through engaging coursework and competitions. Jonathan’s biggest life goal, beyond honoring God and building a family, is to buy back the ranch he grew up on—a place filled with cherished memories and life lessons. With his determination and strong work ethic, Jonathan is well on his way to achieving his dreams and making a lasting difference.
