Baylor ProSales Fall 2024 Outstanding Student Coach: Congratulations to Kate Sralla

Fall 2024 Outstanding Student Coach: Kate Sralla

Each semester, students majoring in Professional Selling (ProSales) select their Top Student Coach to honor at the end-of-semester awards banquet. One of the most coveted awards presented at the banquet, the Top Student Coach award represents a competition among student coaches for internal and the external competition teams. In the Fall, student coaches for the National Team Selling Competition (NTSC) and the Great Northwoods Sales Warmup (GNW) rival the students coaches for three internal competitions: Baylor Business Capability Competition (BBCC), Baylor Business Business Development (BBBD) competition, and the Baylor Business Ethics Competition (BBEC). Competition for the Fall Top Student Coach Award is keen. For Fall 2024, peers selected Kate Sralla as the Top Student Coach. Kate was the student coach for the NTSC and coached peers for the BBCC, BBBD, and BBEC.

“Being selected as the Top Student Coach award by my peers is one of the most meaningful honors of my time at Baylor,” said Kate. “It reflects not only the trust my peers have placed in me as a leader but also the impact I’ve been fortunate to have on others. This recognition is more than a personal achievement; it’s a tribute to the incredible leaders who have come before me and the culture of the program. I am continually inspired by mentors like Caleb Paschke, Collin Bass, Connor Kempston, Dr. Mangus, and Dr. Swan, who have poured into me, and by my ProSales peers who challenge my perspective. A special thanks to Dr. Dixon, whose humility, selflessness, and dedication to student success have made her one of the most impactful leaders I’ve had the privilege to learn from. As I move forward in my career, I am excited to see leaders in this program continue to develop leaders around the world!”

The ProSales Sales Competition program includes both internal and external sales competitions. In 2024, ProSales held five internal competitions: Baylor Business Selling Outside (BBSO), Baylor Business Value Analysis (BBVA), BBCC, BBBD, and BBEC. Baylor ProSales sends student competitors to Indiana (NTSC), Wisconsin (GNW), Georgia (National Collegiate Sales Competition), and Ohio (University of Toledo Invitational Sales Competition). In 2025, ProSales students will also travel to Arizona to compete.
