Sales as a Sport
Kate Sralla’s journey is marked by her relentless pursuit of excellence and her passion for leadership. Growing up as a competitive volleyball player at the junior Olympic level, Kate developed essential skills such as leadership, grit, and coachability. These attributes have seamlessly transitioned into her college life, where she thrives in ProSales, Women in Business, and her sorority, making her feel like that she’s an athlete again! As the eldest of three siblings, her role as a big sister has profoundly shaped her character, instilling a sense of responsibility and care. Her commitment to service is evident through her volunteer work with local organizations in Waco and her mentorship in the National Charity League.
Leadership is at the core of Kate’s identity. She is a ProSales Top Gun leader, actively participating in Women in Business and holding numerous leadership roles within her sorority. The Baylor ProSales program has been instrumental in her development, teaching her the value of a collaborative yet competitive community. Kate finds joy in mentoring those who follow in her footsteps, and the program has equipped her with the skills to excel not only as a seller but as a leader in her career. Her experiences, from being a sales associate at Yoga Six to her promotion to sales manager, showcase her ability to apply her learning in real-world scenarios. Her internship at BMC further sharpened her professional skills as she conducted discovery calls and contributed significantly to the business.
Kate’s inquisitive nature and passion for service drive her to seek out opportunities to make a difference both in her professional and personal lives. She is intentional about identifying gaps within organizations and strives to understand others’ passions to drive impact beyond her role. She thrives on challenges and values the support and investment from the ProSales faculty, which has been pivotal in her development. Looking ahead, Kate is committed to a career where she will continue to be challenged, challenge others, and embrace lifelong learning.
